Packing your schedule backfires—hard. Here’s how to make your week actually work for you...
👉 Planning is good. Too much planning is not good When time blocking, do these 2 things: 1. Only time block a percentage of your time (I like 75% but you may be different). If you block out all your time, the things that inevitably crop up will derail your plan and leave you frustrated. Leave some time every day to deal with things that crop up.
2. Only make a detailed time block plan for the next few days at most. Priorities shift, and planning the upcoming Friday on Monday will often be a wasted effort.👈

Here's the gist:
Plan Your Day or Chaos Will Plan It for You – Without an agenda, you’re unintentionally inviting distractions and inefficiency.
Declutter Before You Organize – Purge what no longer serves you first, so you’re not just organizing unnecessary clutter.
Manage Agreements, Not Time – Productivity isn’t about managing time but honoring the commitments you make about how you’ll spend it.
Leave Buffer Time in Your Schedule – Unexpected tasks will pop up, so build in “white space” to avoid throwing your whole day off.
Track Your Time to Improve Productivity – Use tools like Clockify.me to analyze where your time actually goes and adjust accordingly.

Getting Things Done by David Allen
David Allen’s Getting Things Done (GTD) is a powerful system to help solopreneurs stay organized and stress-free. It walks you through setting up a system that works for managing your time and efforts.
GTD helps solopreneurs avoid overwhelm, work smarter, and focus on growth—without the chaos.
This is one of the best Sci-Fi shows ever and I've been revisiting it lately: The Expanse on Amazon Prime. If you're into smart, sophisticated sci-fi with the depth of a political thriller, this one's for you.
What is it about? The Expanse takes place in a future where humanity has colonized the inner solar system. Earth is united under a single government, Mars has declared independence, and those living in the Asteroid Belt - known as "Belters" - are marginalized, treated as second-class citizens. The series masterfully weaves these political tensions, painting a vivid picture of a solar system on the brink of war. Then the weird stuff starts happening... 😳
Where can I see it? Amazon Prime
Why do I love it? Unlike typical sci-fi fare, The Expanse doesn't rely on monstrous aliens to drive its story. Instead, it uses human nature, exploring the complexities of power, politics, and survival. The protagonists navigate a world where the biggest threats come from within.
Though it's not a new series, The Expanse has aged well. I'm thoroughly enjoying my second watch and find it just as gripping as the first time around. If you haven't seen it yet and appreciate intelligent science fiction, I highly recommend giving it a try.
