Welcome to LifeStarr!
There are over 50 million one-person businesses now and that's going to over 86 million in the next 5 years. We're here for you.
It's True!
The one-person business is going to become over 50% of the US workforce by 2027.
We're here to help you grow together.
Meet the
LifeStarr Team
Stacy Blette
Community Manager
If you have questions, she's got answers! After twenty-five years in property management, she has made the leap into the tech world. Stacy is always forming communities. Whether it's to help someone in need or organizing a road race, Stacy is behind it. She's a big Patriots fan (her husband works for them!) and a proud mother to a son in the Army Special Forces and a daughter who is taking the high school field hockey world by storm. In her free time (what's that?), Stacy enjoys running, photography, the beach, the beach, and the beach!
Michael Hayman
Co-founder & Senior Full Stack Developer
Michael began programming and created a popular network of technology information web sites with his friends at the ripe old age of 14 (I mean, didn’t we all?). Born in Australia, he moved to Canada at 18 to continue working on his business, and that’s where he received his Masters in Economics. When he isn’t programming, you can find him adventuring to exotic locations around the world with his friends, hiking, speaking Russian, playing guitar, and channeling his inner monkey whenever he sees a chin-up bar.
Josh Jordan
Co-founder & Software Architect
Josh has been building software applications for over a decade and has been a tech entrepreneur for nearly as long. He’s worked on things you may use every day, like the Amazon Echo, and launched dozens of web and mobile products. He lives in upstate NY with his wife, kids, and dog. Josh splits his free time between typical geek activities (serious board games and writing code for fun) and atypical geek activities (hiking and camping). Lifestarr has become a passion for Josh and he won’t rest until we’ve shown the world that we don’t need to trust our feeble human brains to stay organized any longer — we can use Lifestarr instead!
Joe Rando
Founder & CEO
Joe has started a number of businesses in technology and real estate. He is very excited about LifeStarr and pretty much never stops talking about it (just ask his wife). Joe lives in Florence, MA with his wife, Licia, a child therapist, and has 4 grown children who are all awesome (just ask him). He has a degree in physics from UMass and an MBA from UConn. His hobbies include drinking coffee. Between cups of coffee, he sometimes jogs, skis, cycles, and plays the guitar.
Shelley Rapoza
Controller
Shelley has been with LifeStarr since the beginning. A busy mom of two, her favorite time is spending summers at her family beach house in CT. An advocate for healthy and active lifestyle, Shelley practices what she preaches by climbing mountains - sometimes more than one in a day. She is known as a serial celebrator of the holiday season, so please be ready to receive her cheer and good tidings, or else!
Carly Ries
Chief Marketing Officer
Carly has been in the marketing world for over a decade and has consulted with businesses ranging from local mom and pop shops to global Fortune 500 companies. She’s one of those digital nomads who travels nearly full-time around the country with her husband, toddler, and puppy. When she’s not out on the open road, you can find her in her hometown of Colorado Springs, hiking, cooking, yogaing (aren’t you glad she's in charge of writing our content?), and finding the nearest trivia night where she can dominate the pop culture questions.
Starr
Director of Barketing
If any of our teammates can get you to stay focused, it's Starr...provided the focus is on him. While still embracing his puppy tendencies, Starr is a sweetheart and has the ability to make anyone he meets fall in love with him. When not working tirelessly on his LifeStarr assignments, Starr can be found playing fetch, accepting belly rubs, and hunting for the nearest table scraps.
